YouTube, NY Times on Iran's 'block-list'

Video sharing website YoutTube joined the list of Web sites that are blocked in Iran, press freedom group Reporters Without Borders said yesterday.
The international organization conducted tests to confirm the story and found the popular Web site added to the Islamic country's blacklist which includes online news daily New York Times.
The online version of the US newspaper had often been blocked by Iran's servers but this time the ban seems lasting. The press freedom group said the country wants to “create a digital border” to prevent its people from exposure to other cultures and news from abroad.
