Porn Lawsuit Against Google Dropped

Child pornography lawsuit against Google has been dropped.
A New York politician previously filed a federal lawsuit claiming that the search engine company Google earns money from child pornography. Jeffrey Toback filed suit last month claiming Google had 'paid links' to Web sites containing child pornography.
The search engine company has denied the allegations.
This suit was originally filed in state Supreme Court, however it was later moved to federal court in White Plains. Then a notice dropping the suit was filed on Wednesday.
Toback said Thursday that he dropped the lawsuit because Google had offered to sit down and discuss the issues but didn't want to do that while litigation was pending.
A Google spokesman disputes Toback's claim, stating that the company is always willing to talk with any public official. 'The suggestion that he's dropping his lawsuit so that he will be allowed to speak to Google executives is ridiculous,' the spokesman added.
