Virgin to launch digital music service September 2

Virgin Group's Virgin Digital on Tuesday said it plans to launch its digital music service in the United Kingdom on September 2, competing with Napster Inc., Apple Computer Inc.'s iTunes and a soon-to-launch service by retailer HMV Group.
