A UK-based company has launched a 'self-destruct' messaging service where the SMS messages that are sent vanish within 40 seconds after the receiver reads them. This 'Mission Impossible-style' messaging service has been launched by Staellium UK.
Called the StealthText service, this promises to be particularly useful whenever users are sending or receiving sensitive messages related to business or personal matters. 'The ability to send a self-destruct message has massive benefits for people from all walks of life, from everyday mobile users, through to celebrities and business people, but this is just the start,' commented Carole Barnum, CEO of Staellium in a statement.
