The European Commission is looking into Microsoft Corp's recent moves into the desktop security market, according to Symantec Corp, one of the companies that stand to lose the most if Microsoft leverages its monopoly to compete.
If Microsoft are in the business of selling security software to protect Microsoft Windows from attack, will the company be so interested in securing their product?
Afterall, if the lack of security in Windows provides them with income, why spend money securing it and there by removing this profit centre?
