Former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney has become the first musician to have a live song blared into space.
Good Day Sunshine was used as an alarm call on the international space station early on Sunday (13 Novemver 05). The Beatles song was broadcast to the two crew members, who are currently stationned 220 miles (354 kilometres) above Earth, from a concert in California.
