US 'Botmaster' arrested

A MAN who, it is claimed, hijacked thousands of computers and formed botnets of zombie computers to launch DoS attacks and send spam has been arrested.

Jeanson James Ancheta, was a member of the 'Botmaster Underground' and was arrested after being lured to FBI offices in Los Angeles to pick up computer equipment that had been seized in an earlier raid.
