Text message service for bullied kids
View at ITN
A mobile phone service which lets bullied children discreetly contact their parents is being launched.
The PingAlert can be activated by pressing a speed dial button on their handset.
It sends a message to the parent's phone with a location description and map.
The development comes as research shows one in five kids have been threatened by text.
